Nothin' Special

This week I had my first client at Paul Mitchell the School!!! I did an all over color on her and then a beautiful blow dry/style with marcel curls. 

I also cut my bangs...again. So that's exciting! I can NEVER decide whether or not I want bangs. I'm always torn because I love to put all my hair up on top of my head but I think I look better with some fringe. 

Something I discovered this week was an abundance of beauty vlog tutorials on YouTube. These girls are my favorite: Zoella280390 and ilikeweylie

Where in the world have I been???

I'm going to be honest with you, I got super wrapped up with school and I FORGOT about my blog!!! Can you believe it? Because I can't. Anyway, I'm back (for now) and ready to update everyone on my sort of not really exciting life.

First off: I have been going to Paul Mitchell for 9 weeks now. This week I started my "Friends and Family Weeks" which means I have two weeks to work on my friends and family before I am officially taking clients!!! EEEEK!!! 

I absolutely love Paul Mitchell. I love the systems, I love the environment and I love the learning leaders. I feel like a completely different person while I'm there. Actually, everyone thinks I'm on crack because I am always so happy and hyper. I absolutely love it.

Now for the actual hair-doing. I love to color hair. I love to mix the colors and see how they turn out. I love trying to figure out how to get a brunette to a blonde and vice versa. 
I'm not too keen on cutting, which is really inconvenient. I just cannot seem to grasp the concepts! I think I am doing good and then I check my cut and it's completely off. WTF!? Well, one of these days I'll get it I suppose.
I also love styling hair. I can't wait to work on up-styles and do prom season. I really want to have lots of experience and a million photos so that I can build up my look book which will help me get a job in the next 10 months. 

As for the rest of my life...I currently work at Forever 21 which is pretty nifty! I work in the mall so there are always a ton of people! My favorite is to work cashier so I can be up at the front seeing what people buy and what not. 
My romantic life is a little sad. It's not non-existent, it's just...hmm...complicated, I guess? 
Also, now I'm fat, so now I'm working on that. My best friend is in France and my wanna-be best friend is 2 hours away. (I say wanna be because I want her to be...I don't know if that's how you say it..annnnyway) That's the update for now!
