Job Hunting and Lazy Days

The negative of being a big girl and withdrawing from university is that now I have to also find a job. :/
I peruse craigslist daily for jobs and occasionally careerbuilder. One thing that is holding me back is the lack of fuel in my car. I can't really afford to go out job hunting right now, ironically. Tomorrow my sister is taking me to the mall so I will pick up applications while there. The sucky thing is that I can only work between the hours of 5pm and 8am because I have school from 9am-4:30pm, so that makes things a litle difficult.

Anyway, aside from job searching I am spending my days watching films...horrible waste of my time but I have no friends and I don't know what else to do. 

I need to fill out my application for cosmetology school but they as you what your greatest achievement is...I don't know!! I am a lazy 20 year old, I have accomplished anything yet! Rough.

Weekly Report

I thought once I was done with school that I would be way better at blogging but really I've just gotten way better at taking naps. At least I'm well rested? I move from university on Saturday at 12. My parents are coming up to help me with my things considering I have too many material items to even dream of fitting in my car.

Happy Birthday To Me

I have some fantastic friends here in Manhattan. After the show tonight, my friends Lindsay and Sarah and I decided to have a carpet picnic at their house with Taco Bell! Yum! So I beat them to their house after getting food and they told me that they were going to go to the bank so I waited in my car. About 20 minutes later, BAM, there they are rolling up in the car with a birthday cake with lit candles!!!! SERIOUSLY??? I wanted to cry and scream and laugh, from happiness of course! Words cannot express how truly grateful I am for them for them spending time with me and treating me so splendidly. <3.

Soo I have awesome manhattan friends, and a cake!

Update: Flowers were just delivered to the dorm for me from my best friend!!!! They're beautiful!! So excited, I might have cried...no shame :)

Crafty

So I've decided that I really, really want to invest in a sewing machine when I move into my new place (whenever that will happen). I used to have one when I was younger and I know the basics of sewing. I just want to be able to make my own dresses and crafty stuff like that. I have absolutely no idea what kind of machine I would get but something with the ability to sew many types of fabric so I could have casual and fancy dresses. I want to make a mannequin for myself as well. One of those duct tape mannequin so it's completely customized. Love them. 

Nothing much is going on today. Work, sleep, work, and then I'm going to see Into the Woods in Junction City with some friends!! Hopefully we'll go to Houlihan's or something afterwards to celebrate my birthday. 

On my actual birthday (May 11) I am going to work all day and then go work with little kids at a beauty pageant workshop. I've never been in a beauty pageant so I have no idea why I'm going to do this. We shall see how it goes. I'll probably go to Chili's or Applebee's to treat myself. By myself. That's what happens when you have no friends. All well. :) 

So that's that, nothing exciting! Hope the rest of the world has a more thrilling weekend than me!

Bachelorette

Can I just say how much I love this movie? It really makes me wish my life was more hardcore. Maybe not Jenna-hardcore but definitely more than the PG crap that it is right now...maybe it's PG-13 and R on a good day...just because of my vocabulary and alcoholism. 

Anyway, it's not a suitable movie for children, or parents or anyone not appreciative of raunchy humor and cocaine. Ha. And no, mom, I have never done cocaine! 

Oh god, I hope my mom isn't still reading my blog posts. That would suck. Sorry mom! Love you so much!

Buuuuut really, love this movie. The actors a great. Check it out if you're brave enough.

STARBUCKS!

It's the time of the year again: Starbuck's Happy Hour!!! Oh, and I got new sun glasses!!!

I've definitely gone to Starbucks once everyday since Friday. I mean, how can you resist $2 venti frappuccinos??? Answer: you can't :)

This week is pretty chill, random events here and there and beaucoup de sleep! My favorite! 

That's it. I need to get back in the groove of blogging now that my life is empty! So much emptiness now that my show is over.

A Pain in My Heart

I don't just love New York, I worship New York. In fact, I don't think there is a word equivalent to the feelings I have for the place. So, currently I am standing out in the hall trying not to cry while my choir teacher is giving a presentation about their New York trip next year. I love New York so much so I figured I wouldn't be able to listen to a presentation about a trip that I can't go on. So, here I am. Stupid I know, but what can I do? I'm also over tired so can I blame the tears on that?

I'll try to update later. I've been too busy to blog recently! :(
